The Eagles Band Bring “History of the Eagles” Back

The Eagles  is known to be the one of the most famous all time American rock band and efforts like ‘Take it easy’, ‘One of these nights’, ‘Lying eyes’, ‘Desperado’ & ‘Hotel California’ are the most proud production of the band which made a mark in the music industry as well. Without any doubt, the Era of 70’s belonged to Eagles Band. Their all first four albums in that era made  hit the charts with top positions and made them the most successful band of all times. Capturing the worldwide fame with their work, the successful tours all around, the awards, the triumphs, the remarkable reunion in 1994, Eagles shows an utterly unique look at how band exported the lifestyle of California to every corner of the world.

The Eagles was formed back in 1971, in Los Angeles, California by Don Henley, Glen Frey, Berrnie Leadon & Randy Meisner.  One of their early albums ‘Greatest Hits’ and ‘Hotel California’ is one of the 20 best selling album of US of all times. These albums did have the numbers like ‘Take it easy’, ‘Peaceful  easy ‘ feeling’, ‘The lying eyes’ & ‘I can’t tell you why’ which hit the top 10 charts as well to make them America’s biggest band.

In between their album ‘Desperado’ couldn’t have the same results but still its single ‘Desperado’ hit the top position in the music charts.  These albums were hot selling and all around the world, 150 million copies of their records were sold. Only ‘Hotel California’ had 32 million sold copies. This era earned them seven number one singles, six Grammy awards, six number one album awards & five American music awards. Unfortunately, they released their last album ‘The long run’ in 1979, when they were at the peak of their career to get separated for a considerable period of time.

The Eagles had a reunion in 1994 for their album ‘Hell freezes over’. They announced that ‘their 14 year vacations are over and they are back again’, in one of their live performances.  This album got both live and studio tracks and video of their all time hit ‘Take it easy’. In 1998, all members of The Eagles were also included in the ‘rock n roll hall of fame’ for their work of ‘take it easy’ and ‘hotel California’.

Start of the new millennium wasn’t a good one with the dispute inside band when Don Felder sued on being fired. This was anyhow sorted out internally and they released ‘Hole in the world’ which encompassed their entire career from ‘Eagle’ to ‘Hell freezes over’ along with one new single. This work hit the triple platinum status eventually. In 2007, The Eagles launched their album with all new work ‘Long road out of Eden’ since 1979, which again hit the top ranks of music charts.

Since then, The Eagles is concentrating on tours & concerts in all parts of US. By latest they will be performing in Salmon Festival 2013 – Centennial Park, Canada on 13^th July 2013, Scotiabank Place Canada on 15^th July 2013, Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia, US on 16^th July 2013 and then final performance of that tour on 18^th July 2013 at Mohegan Sun, US. After that their next tour will be in November.
